Effects of Trellis Systems on the Vegetative Growth and Fruit Quality of Muscat-Flavored Table Grapes

The selection of appropriate grapevine trellis systems is great importance for regulating vine vigor, forming grape yield, improving fruit quality, and labor-saving field management in the North China Plain. effects two on viticultural characteristics quality three table cultivars: RuiduHongyu (RDHY), RuiduXiangyu (RDXY), Red Globe (RG) were investigated. were: (i) T trellis, with shoots positioned horizontally downwards; (ii) V upright an inclined angle. In 2020 2021, total anthocyanin, flavonoid, proanthocyanidin concentrations monoterpene content berries aromatic profiles grapes similar mainly composed citrus, other floral, fruit, rose characteristics. Among them, main varied greatly among different treatments. conclusion, Eurasian cultivars muscat flavor a more moderate controllable consistent growth, taste, greater accumulation polyphenolic compounds system.
